Martha has this fabulous Halloween party every year and this was the first year that I fit the family criteria and could come. We had such a great time. We arrived late because our car broke down and our unexpected homework finally got finished. We were still carving our pumpkin while everyone else's were being judged and given prizes. We got the "best work in progress" award. But I have to admit that our pumpkin turned out so well it was incredibly ornate we did the headless horseman and it was so fun. Growing up carving pumpkins was with a little steak knife and crazy simple faces. We used an actual pumpkin carving kit and I can't believe how much of a differnce it makes it was so easy. Martha made the best soup I think I have ever had and bread bowls in the shape and color of pumpkins it was so cute. It is always so fun to get together with family and catch up. Martha has such wonderful eye for decoration her house was so cute and Halloween-esk. We just love her!!!
